We recommend that delegates stay in one of the above hotels and guesthouses, because we know them and they are conveniently located in relation to the conference. If delegates opt for other places of accommodation, please beware of scams and be careful of the location of the place!
Entry into South Africa
All delegates who need a visa to enter South Africa, must register online and pay their registration fee. We will then sign letters for the South African High Commission to grant them a visa. This process tends to take long, so delegates must please start applying by August.

Note that South Africa requires a yellow fever vaccination certificate for travelers arriving from a large number of countries in Africa, Central and South America. They do not accept electronic proof of vaccination (e.g. on your phone), but require the hard copy certificate. From the OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, delegates are advised to use the speedy Gautrain to Pretoria https://www.gautrain.co.za/ , but Uber and private shuttle services are also available depending on the time of arrival because the last Gautrain leaves OR Tambo Airport to Pretoria at 8:00 pm.
Get off at Boseman Station and use an Uber to University of Pretoria, Lynnwood Rd, Hatfield, Pretoria.
